BIO: ABOUT ME

My name is Michele, and I'm an artist. *Hi, Michele.*

I've been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I used to show my parents my drawings when I was a little girl and they'd go, "Ohhhh, that's nice honey.".....assuming my older brothers gave me their drawings to show them. Then one day they saw me sitting at the table, pencil in hand, and realized it really was *me* doing the work.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Minor in Art History from Boston University, College For the Arts. My paintings involve color, light, line and allllll the thoughts that run through my head while I'm pushing the paint around the canvas.

The thing I enjoy most is not knowing where my paintbrush is going to take me; I never know what the end result is going to be. I learn so much from every brush stroke I make and trust my instincts to take me where I need to go.

I'm inspired by so much around me and try to take in as much as I can every day. I like knowing that what I see through my eyes isn't necessarily what someone else is going to see through theirs; I like seeing things one way and then trying to see them another way. With that said.....I'm (clearly) a Libra, I have 2 cats and I LOVE ketchup.
